Earth Day San Diego 2014 SD EarthFair Happy Earth Day! San Diego goes big for this green celebration with a massive fair and festival in Balboa Park: EarthFair. With more than 300 eco-friendly exhibitors, this festive event celebrates Earth Day in San Diego and is produced by 400+ volunteers. Take a shuttle or ride public transit to the park to participate in this free event, which runs from 10AM to 5PM.
2014 marks the 25th annual EarthFair festival, which is perfect for families and features numerous kid-friendly zones, including a children’s parade. You’ll also find five different venues for live entertainment, a food pavilion with organic and sustainable cuisine and special themed areas. Other highlights of this San Diego Earth Day celebration include the earth Gallery art show and a concourse that showcases cleaner cars that run on alternative fuels. Entertainment at EarthFair will include contemporary music by local artists, storytelling for children, folk music and much more.
