San Diego Comic Con

San Diego Comic Con Comic-Con is the largest comic book and popular arts convention in the world and a one-of-a-kind place for artists to market their wares. The 2012 event will take place in San Diego from July 12 through July 15 at the San Diego Convention Center with Preview Night on July 11. Comic-Con features exhibitors, an art show, awards, games, and films. Plus, there were will be an immense number of special guests, including Charlie Adlard, who is much admired for his work on “The Walking Dead,” a groundbreaking zombie apocalypse series and hit AMC television show; Kate Beaton, a Canadian cartoonist whose work has appeared in The New Yorker, Harper’s, and Marvel’s “Strange Tales” anthology and who first appeared on the scene with an online series called “Hark! A Vagrant!”; and Mike Carey who is well-known for his work on Vertigo's “Lucifer” and Marvel's “X-Men Legacy” as well as the New York Times bestseller, “The Unwritten.”
