San Diego Dog Parks in Balboa Park for Running & Playing
Treat your best friend to a romp at one of the spacious dog parks in Balboa Park. Choose from three enclosed areas where off-leash frolicking is allowed:
  • Grape Street Dog Park

Located at the corner of 28th and Grape Streets, this five-acre run is the largest of the Balboa Park dog parks. Your fluffy friend will enjoy cavorting through open grassy fields and sniffing at groves of mature eucalyptus trees. You’ll also find two water fountains just for dogs, and a restroom just for people (no baggies required).
  • Morley Field Dog Park

Find free parking at this grassy dog park, which is dotted with small trees for shade. It also provides easy access to the Florida Canyon Nature Trails, a fun area to explore with your slobbery companion. You’ll find the entrance to this dog park at the west end of the Morley Field Sports Complex, near the intersection of Alabama Street and Morley Field Drive.
  • Nate’s Point

Your dog can frolic around 2.3 acres of space at this off-leash area. Features include a drinking fountains and picnic tables. Nate’s Point is situated on Balboa Park’s West Mesa, south of El Prado/Laurel Street and east of Balboa Drive.
