Kick of your July 4th holiday weekend at the 1st ever Dash & Dine Gaslamp 5K on Thursday, July 3, 2014. Pulsating with the beat of San Diego's vibrant nightlife and culinary epicenter, the DASH & DINE GASLAMP 5K starts at 7:00pm, when runners will take in the dazzling sights and sounds of the lively Gaslamp Quarter and Downtown San Diego. The grand finale of this unique 3.1-mile course is the exhilarating finish down Fifth Avenue to the iconic Gaslamp Quarter Archway. A portion of the proceeds will go towards the Armed Services YMCA's programs at the Naval Medical Center San Diego.
Activities start at 7am on Coronado on the 4th this year with a 15k to kick things off, followed by performances a parade and much more in various locations on the island. Wrap this fun and busy day up with Fireworks Over Glorietta Bay at 9pm.
