The Gaslamp Quarter is a shopping oasis with over 80 stores, shops, boutiques and art galleries. From vintage fashions to designer brands and unique gifts, the Gaslamp Quarter is home to Urban Outfitters, Lucky Brand Jean, Dream, MAC Cosmetics, Bettie Page Boutique, G-Star, Oakley, Quiksilver Boardriders Club, Sketchers, The PUMA Store and the HUB Market. Shoppers also find retail therapy at Horton Plaza shopping mall.

Dining in the Gaslamp is a culinary journey. The Gaslamp Quarter is home to 150 restaurants, steakhouses, cafés, pubs, wine bars and late night eateries. Savor diverse cuisines - from seafood and sushi to authentic Mexican and Italian fare - at popular Gaslamp Quarter restaurants like Analog, Bite M.E, Burger Lounge, Blue Point Coastal Cuisine, Fleming's Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar, Palm Restaurant and Brian's 24 Restaurant Bar & Grill.


Where is the best place to park?

The Gaslamp Quarter offers metered street parking, garages and surface lots in and around the district. Metered street spots are limited and cost $1.25 per hour through 6 pm. Street parking is free at night and on Sundays. Park-it-on-Market and the 6th & K Parkade are community garages adjacent to the Gaslamp with hourly and event rates. You'll also find parking at Horton Plaza, which validates for up to three hours of free parking when you shop. If you are staying at the Bristol, we recommend you valet park with us and walk to all there is to do and see in the area.

Where can I hear live music?

Gaslamp Quarter offers an awesome nightlife and music scene. Enjoy live music - from rock to blues to jazz - and dynamic local artists in the Gaslamp Quarters many venues, clubs, and bars. Check out the hottest live music and dancing at Croce's Restaurant & Bar, Gaslamp Tavern, Stage Saloon, Patrick's II, Henry's Pub, The Field Irish Pub and Jimmy Loves. The Tipsy Crow offers a cool songwriter's night.
